The refiners fire gets so hot that it ALMOST destroys the precious metal. At the point where it almost destroys it, is the only temperature that can clean out impurities. An actual blacksmith was instructing a class on these facts and was asked, How do you know when the metal is pure and can then be shaped and cooled effectively? He said, you know its ready when you can see your reflection in it. God, keep me in the fire until You see Yourself in me. Until I can be molded and formed into a useful vessel. And, give me the faith to trust that You alone know when that time will be and You will NOT allow this fire to destroy me. Amen.
