The region of Rankous south of Yabrood in the vicinity of Damascus on the Syrian/Lebanese borders has become totally under the control of the Syrian Arab army who is tracking the fleeing opposition to the neighboring mountains and hills . The Lebanese Resistance shared in the operation that was successfully carried on after the Syrian Arab army with the help of the Resistance Freedom fighters had retrieved the strategic hill of Saidnaya in the vicinity of Damascus. The next battle against the opposition will be in Maloula and will have for goal to liberate the historic city . One of the leaders of al Nusrat was killed in this battle while reconciliations are expected in the Zabadani west of Damascus and in other areas of Qalamoon that will spare bloodshed . Battles also resumed in the Eastern Ghouta and in Jobar and in Douma where great numbers of mercenaries were killed and also in Qunaitra on the Golan Heights borders where the opposition has taken strategic positions .
