The rejuvenation of Science City at Union Station continues with the opening Tuesday of Spark!Lab, an interactive area intended to inspire kids to be inventive using simple materials. Thanks to The Kansas City Star for the great write-up about Spark!Lab, an amazing new attraction opening at 10:30am TODAY at Science City! Union Station is proud to partner with The Smithsonians Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation and the Ford Motor Company Fund to bring Spark!Lab to Kansas City’s Science Center. Spark!Lab reveals the stories behind inventors’ work through hands-on activities that help kids and families learn about the history and process of invention. Share our excitement in bringing a distinguished Smithsonian program to Kansas City! Spark!Lab at Science City is made possible through the support of the Ford Motor Company Fund, and is included with your Science City admission.
