The relaxing sound of the hepa filter in our positive pressure - TopicsExpress

The relaxing sound of the hepa filter in our positive pressure room..... It runs all the time. It makes the kind of sound you want to relax and fall asleep to. Well enough. Shelly has had two units of chemo today and has been sleeping most of the day. She has been fighting bouts of nausea and dizziness while listening to Downton Abbey (not necessarily watching). Breakfast and lunch we eaten without much difficulty. She is to be out of her bed and at the table when she eats. I stayed with Shelly last night in her room and Mark at the Kiwanis House. She slept well. It is so quiet here on the 8th floor. Unless someone comes into the anteroom you hear no one. Mark drew his sword today. An MD (a Fellow by degree) came into Shellys room not dressed for oncology work. Mark told her she needed to wear the gown appropriately. He then told the attending physician of the caffuffle. We like rule followers and will not have problems like last time.
