The replacement of Kwesi Appiah with Milovan Rajevac is a disgraceful tale of how the Blackman CANNOT manage his own affairs. It is an anti Black Capability move that should not earn plaudits from any African who believes he is as capable as anyone else anywhere in the world. It is a retrograde act, and I am even more scandalised by the expressions of support that it has received. This is akin to the ugly voices of jubilation in the streets by some unfortunate Ghanaians, following the overthrow of Ghanas first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Is the problem really with Kwesi Appiah or our mentality and attitude towards our own?......he is black and therefore not fit for the job, players do not respect him because he is a Ghanaian and so cannot be in charge of international stars, and such other considerations of black inferiority complex. Granted that Kwesi Appiah is not competent, can we not invest in training him or any of our coaches to bring his technical competence and tactical skills up to world standards? It will be interesting if we do a comprehensive evaluation of the contributions of expatriate coaches to the successes of our national soccer teams (from Black Starlets through to Black Stars) in the last 25 years, juxtposed with that of our local coaches. Our lack of belief and faith in the ability of the blackman can only be described in the superlative degree, and just got reinforced by the replacement of Kwesi Appiah with Rajevac. Henceforth, I will treat any exhortation from anybody, to believe in ourselves as Ghanaians, as empty and nothing more than the words of a conman.
