The rest of the team is on their way! Her is a great story about how the student sponsorship program here in Honduras is working. When we started the program 3 years ago we had the kids who lived by the clinic in mind. We thought we would have around 25 students in the program. Oscar was one of them. Last year he failed 5th grade. He was going to drop out. We spent some time helping him weigh out the consequences of his decision and how limited his options would be without an education. He decided to return to school. We spoke with him today and he was proud to report he passed the 5th grade and even earned a 95 in one class!!!! He now wants to attend the agricultural colegio and is excited about his future. Even though we have 270 students in the program now it would have been worth all the work for just him. Makes me think of the story off the 99 +1.Go Oscar! Thank you for your sponsorship and prayers!
