The results for our MTDC Explore Ellora 2014 photo competition held on 3rd Aug 2014 are out. The winners are First prize : Mr. Swapnil Kulkarni (Rs.10,000) Second Prize : Mr.Pranav Samag (Rs.7,500) Third Prize : Mr.Sheikh Iqbal (Rs.5000) Consolation Prize winners are : (Rs.1000 each) Sanket Kulkarni , Amol Sanase , Vikrant Gawli , Nilesh Sonavne and Rishabh Sontakke First prize winner Swapnil Kulkarni is a student at MIT engineering college. Second prize winner Pranav Samag is a professional photographer and the Third prize winner Sheikh Iqbal is a Rikshaw driver by profession and photography is his hobby. A total of 129 participants submitted around 255 photographs for the contest at the MTDC office , out of which the best 8 were chosen by the judges in three rounds. The main criteria of critique was from the tourism point of view and the importance of the monuments along with other technical aspects. The panel of Judges for the competition were Shri. Govind Pawar . Principal,The Government College of Arts Aurangabad. Shri.Vijay Saathbhaye , Senior Photographer , Archaeological Survey of India. Shri. Mahesh Aute , MD ,Micrographics , Aurangabad. MTDC will organize the Prize Distribution program on 21st August 2014 at 5.00 PM at Kalagram , Cidco.A photo exhibition of all the entries will also be held on the same day.
