The revolting idea that the rich are rich because they deserve to be rich and the poor are poor because theyre a bunch of lazy feckless freeloaders who deliberately choose to be poor is written through the core of the Tory party like the writing in a stick of rock. The examples Ive provided in this article demonstrate that Tories will make up any old gibberish to defend the ludicrous fantasy that the ever growing rates of destitution in the UK have absolutely nothing to do with their ideological austerity experiment, because according to them, the only people to blame for poverty are the poor themselves. It is one of lifes great mysteries why so many poor and ordinary people vote for a political party who so blatantly hold them in such utter contempt.
