The rights of sovereign citizens to be treated with respect is unknown to the arrogant, who imagine that they have been granted superior status in the scheme of creation. What part of "all men are created equal" is not self evident? Those who think more highly of themselves than they ought to think choose to denigrate the experience of those in whose shoes they ought to humbly beg the grace to tread with comparative dignity. The salt of the earth does not lose its flavor, even when spat out by those who cannot stomach the implications of freedom and justice for all. The groaning of creation endures the burden of careless and heartless demagogues, but, like a woman giving birth to innocence, the earth hopes through agony for those who care for the poor and the needy of all the species of her terrain.
