The riots in Ferguson and all over Missouri are happening because the Ferguson police shot a boy who had reportedly raised his open hands before he got shot. This kind of shameful situation is happening all over the nation as many police officers get more and more aggressive and violent. Federal legislation is needed to identify the universal sign for I give up - dont shoot me and dont beat the shit out of me sign. If a person raises their open hands and holds them steady, they should be allowed to say or even yell anything without getting beat up or killed (choked, shot, gang mugged by a pile of officers,...), any trained officer can skillfully take a big man to arm behind the back with cuffs especially if they are not physically resisting arrest.
