The ripple effect from these will effect everyone. Its not just a racial regression but a wake up call to all. I heard on the radio today that its not a racial white/black, the media is feeding that because it sounds better than its everyone vs them/police. Which I agree it should be... To an extent!! We must stand behind these injustices regardless of race as a human race and demand better training and some sort of accountability for these officers! We must not become so enraged to give room for continued injustice by raging against police entirely!! We must remain collected and fight the law with the laws that were put in place to protect us, and when those fail we keep fighting the legal system with the legalities they find to get themselves off the hook the same way!! We must educate ourselves to do the same! Basically, we all need to go to law school and be lawyers... Even with police brutality on the rise, we need to remember theres more out there trying to do a difficult job, well under paid to protect us and keep some form of respect for those who are doing just that! I watched another report stating that perhaps some of these men would still be alive if they had just complied and fought legally later. That once you are told you are arrested that all disputes are null, anything after is considered resisting and when things become escalated and can turn tragic. I agree, however I cant imagine the constant frustration of being suspected borderline harassed by police, and that is where I think these men who arent hardened criminals begin to lose their composure & it cost them their life when it shouldnt have! Now these cops have training and deal with unpredictable responses to their requests/demands daily so we have to understand that there will be times that they can make mistakes. However, in these recent events or especially this one, I dont see much room for the excuse of their deaths & that cannot be tolerated! We cannot allow this to undermine those lives lost be it in vain if we do not unite in a productive way towards better changes for us all. That being said I also think there has to be movements on both/all sides & education is key. Knowledge is power not retaliation. The families of the victims need to be armed with knowledgable resources to take the proper steps to seeking justice. We need to educate our family members of better ways for better outcomes. Not because the officers have the right to these types of acts, this must be changed, but because we will not give them the power to put our loved ones in a position to be victimized anymore! Idk thats the best I got on this without going to law school myself... Shoulda, woulda, coulda... Dammmiiitttt! Never thought Id see times like these where Id ever really regret that!! This generation (regardless of race!) is severely lacking the tools to even care let alone make changes in this and thats the scariest part of all!! Return to twerking teenagers nothing to he concerned with here... #nakedkardashianwinssmh
