The role of immersion education in revitalization efforts for endangered languages is a bright spot in the advocacy-ideologies of critical hope. We need grassroots efforts worldwide to move schools like these forward. Unfortunately in many indigenous communities, the neoliberal rape of the land, resources, peoples, and cultures has had, and continues to have, a deleterious effect on every continent. The rape is as true of many UNESCO identified so called developed nation-states as it is of so called developing nation-states. The hegemony and injustice cries out through economic and sociopolitical dimensions across borders. While these issues are not discussed in this piece, they are well known and well analyzed in this authors academic writings, for they are always and everywhere seething under the surface.
