No matter how many times you tell them, the odds are youll reach a point in time when you will suddenly realize its something you can no longer do. Either you will wish you could say it one more time or they will wish they could hear it, one more time. Regardless of how much we want tomorrow to be a promise it is just a dream. The day will come when well be gone, or someone will be gone and many will say, I wish I had the chance to tell them, just one more time... I love you. I love you is a declaration, and not a request. I tell you I love you and need nothing in return. I have unconditional love within me and I do my best to remove all conditions from what I give to others. When we are children we tell our parents we love them because we want to be reminded that they love us too. When we reach that age when hearts begin to twirl together, we say is and if its not returned we feel slighted, rejected, spurned. When we see the light in the eyes of our children we tell them we love them, because we do and for no other reason, a declaration because we want them to know they are loved, they will always be loved and they really need do nothing in return. Love is a treasure you find within your own heart and you can share it with whomever you care to. It isnt a commodity to be bought, sold or bartered. Love is unconditional, the joy in love is in the giving. What you get in return is just icing on the cake. I love for much the same reason I breath, its what keeps me alive. Take my hand.
