The rudimentary problems surrounding Guyana’s development are the beliefs of the people there who still seem to be living isolated from the advances in corroborative schools of thought that lead to development in the rest of the democratic world. The ideas of hegemonic entitlement over others is not just along racial lines of the Indians and Blacks (as though they are the only people there… lol) … if we follow the issues in the news and social media we see it very much along gender, class, rank and pecking order, rural-urban, local and overseas, people with disabilities, etc… if Guyana does not find leader who is reconciliatory then a victory for any of the political parties or coalitions contesting this general elections says nothing about socio-political and economic development of our beloved country.
