The sad song which gathers Iranians This is a famous and wonderful Persian song , and its poetry written by Amir Jan Sabori a Persian singer, musician, composer, and poet from Herat , Afghanistan , and was performed by him at 2005 , then it was performed by the Tajik Persian singer Nigara Kholowa , also performed by Hassan Shamaizadeh from Isfahan at 2008 and by many other Iranian singers … And here I present it from YouTube performed by Nigara Kholowa, because of its beautiful and meaningful words and because I feel that a hidden Persian and Iranian old sorrow which accumulated through times is represented here by this song … The song name is empty city and here I have translated some of its poetry : What a world is this ? in which The friend is afraid of friend The thirsty sprouts are afraid of garden Lover is afraid of his beloved girl Musicians are afraid of chords The knight is afraid of the plain smooth road And physician is afraid of seeing a patient !
