The saga continues - I woke up this morning - my usual stuff - I got to the kitchen and noticed a trail of blood - I went to sit down and determine what was going on. I left foot big toe was bleed enough to cause an issue - I cleaned it and bandaged it and noticed it filled the bandage up fast. I then put on an larger bandage. Same thing again. I did it again. It stopped. I got ready and went to the hospital. After I was there about 20 minutes I felt something in my shoe. I pulled it off and my sock was red. I left and went to my podiatrist who was on the way home. He got me in fast. Somehow my toe nail had broken free at the back and it was bleeding pretty bad. Good news is that he got it to stop bleeding . Bad news. I lost toe nail. More bad news - this is exactly what starts bad things for diabetics. I have got to pray this does not go further and take good care of it. I have known way to many people that have lost limbs of something simple like this (being diabetic). I am having fits getting my diabetes under control. I guess you can say my warranty was 55,000 miles - it started falling apart about 55. Now at 3 months to 63 parts are starting to be fixed all over (lol) - nickel dimming me to death - no pun intended (lol)
