The same basic pattern and storm track is expected to remain in place throughout the long range. Some milder days between frontal passages with several rain producing storms possibly shifting over to Snow after their passage. Much like we just saw with this system. We have another NW Flow snow shower event looking likely around Thursday evening with another marginal system possibly producing rain and snow next weekend with the same tendency continuing as far out as the models can see which is February 12th. The summary is ..from now through the first week and a half of February we are likely to see unsettled roller coaster weather in the Eastern Half of the US with more cold air coming so dont put away your mittens just yet.
