The scenarios for the prospect of Zimbabwe moving to the super eight stage. And the Windies will be playing at this World cup without the service of two of their best ODI players in Bravo and Pollard and that will only work in Zimbabwes favor but they will have to find a way to send Gayle packing off to the pavillion early since we all know this man can win a match on his own when he fires. A cheap Gayle dismissal will be the key to a possible win since the Windies have always been over-reliant on him for quite sometime now and without Bravo and Pollard they will need more from him. Well many of you may disagree with me but as far as i am concerned Zimbabwes best chance of shocking a quality team and making it to the super eight stage will be India. The indian bowling department,in particular the pacers, are very low on confidence and they have come under heavy criticism for mediocre bowling display in the recently concluded Gavaskar-Border test series and that will definitely play on their minds. And in reality, Indias bowling unit is not too far ahead of Zimbabwes and a good display of bowling by the Zimbabwe and restricting India under 250 or thereabout given they get to bowl first or scoring around 260 to 270 by batting first will put India great pressure and even so if they are in a must-win situation. So it is either doable against The Windies or India.
