The scheduling nurse called yesterday and the insurance has agreed to cover the pill but it has to be submitted through our Mail Order prescription pharmacy which usually only accepts 90 day prescriptions but is accepting this one and our only cost will be $150 per month which is way better than the original cost per month. He will start his pill and infusion on Monday and will receive it through Friday in St. Louis as an outpatient. We will find out Thursday if the study has selected him to receive the other infusion, if they do he will start it next week also. For now all treatments will continue in St. Louis. Since next week is Mothers day week and me and Mrs. Betty will be needing to work at the Flower shop, my mom and dad will be taking John Daniel to St. Louis for his treatment. He will be in great hands like he is every other day with them and will be spoiled even more rotten when he gets back on Friday. I absolutely hate not going but I will be going throughout the summer and Joscy will be going with us so we can go to the Zoo and Science Center and whatever else is up there that he may enjoy and feels like doing. I am just ready to get this next round going so we can get to his first scan 2 months from now. If it isnt significantly improved I am going to ask about St. Judes, I really dont want to make him go through an entire year of a treatment if he isnt showing vast improvement and quickly.
