The search and approach to finding the Malaysian airliner is based on in-the-box thinking and use of technology that is adequate for many other purposes. The issue is that the world has forgotten the 9/11/2001 in the way it has expressed and powerfully exhibited the ability of some perpetrators in creating and using out-of-the-box actions. Did anyone on this planet foreseen the collapse of the two towers at the hand of a few people? The answer is not only no, but it also showed the diabolical ability of some people. So, why is the disappearance of the Malaysian airliner addressed using trivial assumptions. I am convinced that the debris in the Indian Ocean are from thousands of sources except the one aimed at. The airliner is somewhere either intact or disintegrated, but the way it got there is not through well known methodologies. Satellite imagery and hundreds of well intended experts cannot foresee the actions of minds who spent the best of the last 13 years planning the next big show. And the show is on now.
