The season has begun! We want to remind everyone of the attendance policy here at wca. All practices are mandatory. This is cheer and unlike other sports we cannot practice efficiently without everyone there. That being said, because it is August we have decided to be more lenient and we understand that many people have family vacations planned! All that we ask is that you tell us ahead of time ( not the day of practice) or to just not show up. Coaches must be able to plan a productive practice for the rest of the team. Beach days to do not count as vacation ;) please give coaches enough notice if you or your child will be away! Once September hits attendance will again be strictly enforced. Missing a practice with no reason may lead to the loss of position and Three missed practices that are unexcused will result in dismissal with no refund as written in the contract. Cheer is expensive and it isnt fair to the rest of the team to have to stand around doing nothing because one person isnt there. Also please note that all athletes should be to practice 15 minutes before start time. This ensures that they are stretched and ready to go!! :) all great lessons to prepare our youth and adolescents for their future !
