The second Day of The enthralling Bhakta Sammelan 20.12.2014. The three day colorful Bhakta sammelan that the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama is organizing here in Viswapriya Function Hall had its second day session today starting early in the morning at 6a.m with sublime Mangalarati, chanting of Sanskrit hymns, and other devotional songs befitting the time and occasion. Swami Aksharatmananda from Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu conducted this session. Swami Gautamanandaji, adhyaksha, Chennai math, Swami Raghunayakananda from Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, Swami Achintyananda, Ramakrishna Math, Kadapa, and Swami Veerabhadrananda, Ramakrishna Math, Hadipad, Kerala spoke next on the topic “Spiritual Practice”. The Swamis emphasized spiritual practice as the tool to counter all the evils in human life, and it is important in order to create a peaceful and harmonious world order. The topic “Satsang” was discussed next. Swami Shashikantananda, Ramakrishna Mission, Vijayawada, Swami Atmajnananda, Chennai, Swami Sannivasananda, Vijayawada threw lights on the subject by stating that the “satsang” or the holy company is the catalyst to transform our life into a higher plane. There was Yatipuja next, where all the monks present in the occasion were honored by the devotees, to augur well-being for the individual as well as collective. The evening session will be the next where the topic is Holy Mother and the function will be presided over by Pravrajika Bhavaniprana Mataji, President of Guntur Sarada Math.
