The second book of the New Testament was written by a young man who observed the life of Jesus close up. His name was Mark. It was most likely at his mothers home where the Last Supper took place. There is the curious young man carrying a pitcher of water who shows the disciples where to gather. And it gets more mysterious, as a young man loses his nightshirt in the olive bushes of Gethsemane when the Romans soldiers come. Their torches reveal his hiding place and in haste he has to run home naked as a jaybird. He saw a lot. He saw Judas leave. He heard Jesuss words in the garden. He was there. He wrote it down for us.
