The second level of our new Emergency Care Center includes a unique simulation training center, with high-tech dummies that talk, bleed, breathe, and lead caregivers and first responders through high-stress life saving scenarios. It includes the back of an ambulance, an ER room, an operating room and an ICU room. “It’s very similar to simulation training that pilots go through,” said Debbie Krauser, program director for the Fort Worth Emergency Services Collaboration. “We recreate a situation that they may or may not ever encounter in their career, but if they do, you want to make sure they’re ready.
