The second most baffling car deal Ive been apart of. Second only of course to the Nudie Truck. I call the guy on craigslist for more info on the car. He doesnt own it, but hes happy to show it to me for his friend. Turns out they are selling it where they are selling it due to high traffic. No problem. The car looks nice, with minor exterior blemishes and a broken tail light. The car was listed on craigslist for X amount. When I see the sign on the car it is for $150 less. After inspecting the car, I decide I am going to make an offer. I offer $600 less than the original X amount. I get a call back this morning, with the guy saying that his friend agreed to $700 less than X amount. Either these guys are stupid when it comes to negotiations, or Im missing something. . . . . .
