The second place i stopped by tonight was..."Gerstles Place", this was one of my old stomping grounds, had done Comedy here several times in the past, but by now it had been sometime since the last time id done it there. The first thing i noticed was how much it had changed since my time there. The bar and stage area where wide open, almost under a tent-like garage.....Like something youd see in florida or on a beach, ya know? I didnt recognize it, it had all changed and so had there flexibility towards variety! The bartender told me...."We no longer do Comedy!" I asked why, and he said....."We had a comic not to long ago, and he was horrible, we had to cut his act short. He was reading right off his paper.".....And of course I didnt let the conversation end there, but eventually i realized there was no reason to prolong it, because either this guy, or the buisness already had their minds set that Comedy would not be apart of the entertainment.........So what else can you do but walk away?......
