The second stage of the Phoenix Story Listening Project at Abbotsford Convent involved trialling colours and sizes for the feathers that will hold your stories and make up the body of the Phoenix, she takes shape throughout November. This is a celebration of the Convents 10th Birthday and Id love to hear your stories about what the Convent has meant to you in the last 10 years. These stories will be written and printed onto the feathers in many ways. If the Abbotsford Convent had not been saved from the hands of developers, it would now be private residences and very few of us would ever be able to spend time here. Think of all the experiences you have had at the Convent since it was re-opened to the public! Or maybe its a place you are only just beginning to discover. Drop in and tell me your story and Ill write it on a feather. By the end of November there will be many voices whispering in the wings of the Phoenix!
