The secretariat for the Governments Action Plan for Successful Aging (under the Ministry of Health) partnered NTUCs ULive@Work department to engage union leaders from the public transport sector this morning at the NTUC Centre. Focus was on workers health, wellness, continued employment, the connections between these key areas and how to systematically enhance the outcomes to benefit workers. Such engagement is very useful in ensuring that policy and programmes are designed to be practical, and that folks on the ground co-create and co-own the process and outcomes. Many thanks to our MOH partners and our leaders from the National Transport Workers Union (NTWU) for coming together with NTUC Ulive@Work for this!
