The secular press loves to show hypocrisy and moral miscreant behavior among those who profess to be devout followers of Christ. We see hypocrisy is a human problem, not reserved for self-righteous religionists, because at its root is selfishness, which is the root of all sin. The difference here is that the atheist community believe there are not absolute moral laws, but are only social constructs and are subject to change and are in a state of flux. The difference God makes is that when a believer is tempted to be hypocritical or dishonest, remember there is a God and Judge of all the earth may motivate one to reconsider, straighten up, and do right, because we are accountable to a higher power. This is certainly superior to the weak atheist attempt at morality of "good without God." Also, it is out of touch with reality, because there is clear and convincing evidence that there truly is a God and Creator of the universe. Where does a universal sense of conscience and right and wrong come from? It reflects the reality we are created by a moral, righteous Creator.
