"The security guard barely noticed the attack as his body went limp and a fountain of blood ejected from his ruined throat out onto the dashboard and the windshield. The younger man was trying to scream but every inhale brought the sheath cord tighter around his throat. Kreed smiled inwardly at how easy it had been. The body pulled at the sheath cord until the younger man ran out of air and stopped gasping and struggling."
