The services are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY, but were captured in an Aug. 29 story in the Washington Post about the intersection of religion and college football. The story describes DOZENS [NOT ENTIRE TEAM] of players as being in attendance. Emphasis mine, words in brackets mine. Seems to me, non-believing players have just as much freedom to not attend services as believing players have to attend. Seems theres no discrimination from or to believers or non-believers here. Its theatrics over a non-issue.
