The shakedown was on at Walkley today and there is a twit that is making claims- the facts are two- we double booked birthdays- one was booked in Dec and my staff -so me- did not make it in the reservation book- so another party was booked at the same 1 PM time. I should know better as the person booking this party on behalf of her friend said she had been at a party the previous summer and it was not a good experience- and here we go- my manager said - oh we are sorry to hear that- we will make this even better- as apparently the pizza last year was crap- we order from 1-1 on St.Laurent and other than they can be late at times, the quality for the price is ok. Anyway, the manager says we are testing Milano Pizza and we will get it for your party. So all is good, party comes in- had been advised the party room was booked- so we would accommodate them elsewhere- no issue- all was great- the kids started bowling, the area made ready and at meal time, the food and beverage provided. Milanos pizza as promised. As it turned out we did screw up- they had 10 kids- and we promise 2 slices per child- we had 16 slices and needed 20. 1/2 a pizza. I offered fries or something else and never got an answer- I was working kitchen- fries-which all kids live- would have been 5 minutes. However, we did screw up, so I discounted the party $20- more than the cost of the 4 slices- and in the end the kids never finished the pizza we had,
