The shaytan promises us poverty and pushes us to sin while Allah promises us forgiveness and bounty. He is al-Waasi, The All- Sufficient, The Vast. No matter how many times you fall, never despair of Al-Waasi. The Shaytan will whisper whatever he can to make you believe you cannot get back up, are unworthy of getting back up, will never become better, make you feel comfortable with your nose in the dust, etc etc etc. He is a lier and a thief. He is your enemy. He only wins if you believe him, and can only rob what you willingly put in his hands. He hates for you to become the best version of yourself so he shows up as internal resistance every time you think about getting up, every time you want to elevate your soul. When you feel his whispers and hear his arguments throw them aside, and instead seek Al-Waasi. Whatever youve done, it is tiny in comparison to the power of He who is Vast in His Forgiveness and Mercy, Vast in His ability to give you from His bounty in this life and the next. Let the vastness of the earth, the sea, and the sky remind you of the Vastness of the Creator. Power and greatness we can never fathom. So appeal to al-Waasi and get on up - Sr. Muslema Purmul.
