The shit white people say. So, as I was getting my EBT card and the white behind the counter asks me if I had land for gardening. I responded, ...no. He continues, ....youre Native American? (Oh shit, whats he gonna say next) Me: ....yes, Navajo. Him: .....you dont even have a tomato plantern? Gah. But, arent u Native American? And, you dont have any land? Me: Yes I am, Navajo. I live in an apartment. We have reservations and u can thank your government for that. I dont know if you were aware..... Your comments were offensive. Id like to speak with your supervisor. Spoke with the supervisor but still didnt feel heard.
