The shooting - the second crime in as many days to occur in a Wilmington church parking lot - left a church trustee expressing frustration with gun violence. “The whole world is turned upside down,” said Ebenezer trustee Rob Woodson, who learned of the shooting when he stopped by the church this afternoon. Woodson said he was upset by people’s lack of respect, not only for today’s incident but also Wednesday’s incident in which a priest was carjacked at gunpoint in the St. Paul’s Catholic Church parking lot in the city’s Hilltop neighborhood. Deiondre Travis, of the 100 block of N. Broom St., has been charged with first-degree robbery and possession of a weapon during a felony in connection with that incident.
