The show at 013 upcoming Friday is on!!! This gig will be something different though. The good news is Jochem’s voice is on the road to recovery. Today he visited the doctor again and got confirmed that what has been damaged is slowly healing. Together with his vocal coach, he is making progress. That said, Jochem singing during the show at 013 is out of the question. This would be too soon and would set him back to zero or worse. Since we did not want to cancel this show as well we started looking for someone to join us this Friday. We’re happy we found Peggy Meeussen from BLIKSEM enthusiastic to kick some ass with us and willing to study the full Vanderbuyst setlist. Peggy was an obvious choice, not only is she a long time friend of the band, she has shared the stage with us before. With her raw soulful voice she will add something special to our songs. The show at 013 (Tilburg NL) this Friday, will be a unique chance to see Vanderbuyst in an extraordinary collaboration.
