The showers werent too heavy today - just got caught coming home from the town, but nothing my brolly couldnt cope with! More tomorrow, I hear! So fed up with it.... sick of squelching through mud already, and if its like last winter, there is an awful lot more to come :( . Lets have some nice, bright, frosty weather for a change! We were watching the Mallards on the pond this morning - the males were fighting, probably because they outnumber the females and are competing for their attention. Some have been mating, so if the weather turns little ducklingd will be lost. Everything is crazy - the birds, animals and plants dont know what the season is. We also heard a racket and saw a squirrel hurling abuse at a Magpie. Havent seen Cyril for sometime, but he is obviously alive & kicking! Ruby was really naughty last night - played up for ages.... getting me up and down the stairs. Then again at 3am! What a Bullie. Going to tidy round then well go for some snuggles. nonite all.
