The shrieks from the hard-right about the ISIS invasion of the Southern Border are increasingly irksome. Does it even matter to these screamers that there has never been a verified penetration of the Mexican border by a Muslim extremist? Why dont these same people call for a tightening of the Northern Border from which there have been several terrorist penetrations. Or, why dont they complain about the legal visas terrorists like the 9/11 hijackers used to enter this country? The next time you hear one of these jingoists on cable TV, run this reality sound track through your mind. 1-Never from the south, ever. 2-Several times from the north. 3-Often through the airports. 4-Does the truth even matter?
