The simplification of logo redesigns is interesting and kind of lame. Look at Dennys old logo, it was a bit quirky and playful with a slightly vintage casual air about it. The new one is on the right. It looks like the owners child did it over a lunch break. The character is gone, its bland and thoughtless and forgettable - if it wasnt so mindless. Dennys also changed their corporate slogan to... Dennys, a great place to sit and eat This is either pure straightforward brilliance or they decided to target the simpler members of society. Whats with all the dumbed-down logo changes, Pepsi? Yahoo? You guys is crazy!
