The singing of the bird dominates the air this morning. It serenades anyone who wants to listen with its beautiful melody. In the distance is another, responding as if to say, My melody is more beautiful than yours. A hummingbird zooms by and perches in a tree above. A dove flies through the yard, heading to destination unknown. The bright ball of light shines through the branches and leaves of the surrounding trees and climbs steadily to light and warm the day. Dew shimmers on the freshly mowed grass and droplets glitter like diamonds. And the water trickles in the fountain.
