The site for the Google Journalism Fellowship is now live . Deadline is Jan 31st 2015. The Fellowship is a 10 week summer program - the students spend most of the first week at Google and other companies in the Bay area. There is a $1000 travel stipend and a weekly payment of $850. They are looking for a cross section of students to apply - students with computer smarts and story telling chops and not necessarily just from the journalism program. A fabulous side benefit of the program is that so far five of the 11 Fellows from last year now have jobs with their host orgs.
