The snow recently and the impending storm tomorrow/Tuesday has made me a bit lethargic. I am reminded of the days when having a day off from school meant fun outside playing Bounty Hunters with my three best friends Brandon, Ryanand Adam or staying in and playing video games all day: Mario Kart 64 or Goldeneye if all of us were together... or Final Fantasy VIII if it was just Ryan and I. It was likewise the case years later (or years ago) that Mason (Phil) and I would stay in, doing the same. It has always been one of the few times Ive been able to shut off my overactive brain and settle into activities without the inevitable clock watching. Working six days a week and struggling to find time for a social life, getting healthy, keeping up with my passion for film and my own writer, film making, etc. has gradually turned me into such a clock watcher, which I despise but is often necessary to accomplish all the things I wish to accomplish. I do genuinely long for the simplicity of my childhood at times and relish the possibility of snow days from work, likely even more than I did as a child
