The son of a man is a man, the son of goat is a goat, the son of dog is a dog. So therefore, the son of God is also god. But the question is, does God have a son? if yes, for what reason? If yes, then the son should also be god carrying all the attributes of God. And what are the attributes of God? He is all knowing and Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:36 = No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the father. meaning he Jesus is limited in knowledge and he does not fit in the category of the whole knowing because he is not God nor the son of God. Also in Matthew 8:20 = Jesus replied, ...but the son of man has no place to lay his head called himself in several verses of the bible son of man and God is not a man. God is good all the time, Jesus denied being good because he understands being good is the glory and nature of God and he does not want to take what is not his. So, he direct the glory back to whom is due (God Almighty) read in Luke 18:19 Why do you all me good? Jesus answered, No one is good-except God alone. Did you get that brothers Except God alone is good meaning Christ is not God. I can go on and on, but let me add just one point and let you to pounder on these few points. Can God be tempted by satan? The answer is CAPITAL NO! Temptations come to test the faith of man to his creator. So therefore, God can not be tempted at all. If so, then is Jesus still God or the son of God? If yes, then read Matthew 4:1 Then Jesus was led by the spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. Vs 2. Those God fast or go hungry? Vs 8. Can the devil ask God to bow down and worship him? Mind you, even the devil himself knows God and quote the scriptures also, because he is also the creature of God Almighty. Vs 10. Jesus said to him, Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only. Here Jesus Christ has spoken the truth for those who want to know and learn from it. WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY He did not say I am the Lord your God, worship and serve me only. So therefore, I implore you my Christian Brothers to desist from this blasphemous doctrine (Taking man to be your God or giving the glory of God to man). No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1Corinthians 10:13) Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:32) May God help us all and soften our hearts to recognize and accept the truth. Amen!
