The songs of the 70s had a lot of themes with great meaning and we could always relate to them! For some reason the music helped us cope during a time of despair when the burden of oppression was upon us! However, it was also an age of innocence and triumph in the face of great adversity and overwhelming odds against us! The power and beauty of music and dance helped to pave the way that lead to not only inner peace, but peace amongst each other! The spirit of music and dance enveloped us and we experienced a euphoria which we will never forget! As we continue to tell our stories, our hope is that our message is heard and shared with future generations to come and that what we experienced is never lost!
