The songwriter says: Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father.....Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided. Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me. Merriam - Webster defines faithfulness as firm in adherence to promises or in observance of duty. But I believe Faithfulness is love hanging on. Faithfulness is love saying; I will not quit. There may be misunderstandings, there may be disappointments, there may be discouragements, but I will not quit. I will come through for you no matter what In 1 Kings 8,...Elijah KNEW the rain was coming. How? The ear of faith hears what the eye of flesh cannot of see! If your prayers havent been answered, Bow down before the presence of the Lord. Pray humbly, be specific, be earnest, be Persistent, pray expectantly and don’t be double minded. Friends, there is no room for quitting as a child of God. If you are tired and weary and contemplating quitting, I encourage you to reconsider and trust God. As my husband always say Remember to Remember....think about all those times when God came through for you - even though you thought all was lost. Remember those times when God proved Himself faithful in your life. And know that our Yahweh is the God of Yesterday, today and forever. There is no shadow of turning with Him. He doesnt change His mind like we do. He did it yesterday. He has brought you this far - Of course He will do it again.
