The soul of this country is being contested for and will be determined in the next few months. On the one hand is someone who has posited publicly his passion for Islam and very pro north (facts and quotes he can never take back)....and on the other hand is another who has ruled this country for about five years and basically been shoddy, quite sloppy at handling critical issues and has blundered so much that it stinks to high heavens! Their personalities have been x-rayed and a lot has been said about their personalities (which to my mind goes a long way and must actually be examined and examined and re-examined) but the issues confronting the polity needs to be at the front burner. I want to begin to look at the issues ....beyond Sai Buhari and not be caught up with an Osibajo who is vying for the VP (a toothless bulldog position if you ask me) and the sycophants chanting GEJ and Sambo who may have nothing to show for his continuity. Make no mistake that beyond these two, the cards of religion and tribe play very well.... you must be deluded to think that these factors dont play out.
