The sound of the Native American voice pierces the spiritual sheild like the voice of the hawk pierces the early morning light, pierces the core of our being and the sound of the flute carries our soul into the wind. This is the wailing of the ancestors, calling to our hearts to remember there is a way to live and a way to love that parallels the soul of the Earth and is in harmony with the universe. We all hear this sound but are pulled from its natural rise and fall by the voice of fear that we have seen in nightmares and in the struggle of mankind to come to terms with his mortality that has driven him to divide and conquer the shadow of his own being. Pray for vision and work unceasingly to provide the love that is essential to our survival. Sing the heart song and listen for the voice of our mother; she is waiting.mm
