The source of a flourishing life is intimacy with the Holy Spirit which allows for endless streams of revelation in God. Our lives are like trees; some trees flourish, others wither and die. If we don’t tend them, weeds will grow. But as we connect to him, virtue flows from him into our lives. It is ‘flourishing’ when God brings us to new depths and heights in our knowledge of him. Flourishing is about achieving a deeper sense of purpose, meaning and well-being despite adversity. No tree can flourish until there is a connection to soil, where it is nourished. This is same for us; the extent to which we flourish is tied to the strength of our nourishment and the depth of our roots; and our intimacy with the Holy Spirit. We have to recalibrate and ensure that we remain resolute in the pursuit of God’s will for His glory to be revealed in our lives. God has a way of revealing Himself, if we ask and wait. We just need to trust the timing and the way He chooses to do it. Flourishing is about finding your place and identity in Christ and living it out contextually. We are equipped to flourish by tapping into divine strength through the Holy Spirit. Like Dan 11:32 tells us …but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. We are not here to survive, we are here to thrive, prosper, flourish and grow. We are not here to lead mediocre lives, but to flourish in the spirit of excellence and do exploits. We are here to make a difference, add value and make our world a better place. In 2015, you will be all you can be, give all you can and have an awesome time doing it!!! So don’t stop living in God’s reality. Strive to see your life through the eyes of heaven and you will see yourself flourish. Good Morning Pals
