The special needs mom winner is the most obvious: As the owner I am often found behind the closed doors of my office, sorting through paperwork, issuing checks for the bills, praying for new clients, marketing for my service providers, and of course running countless errands. I try to get out and meet our guests as often as I can, I am shy and therefor do not mingle as I should, I am working on this. :) For the past 6-7 years I have literally witnessed one of our clients (who I now call Friends) take her daughter Tyler (who is a special needs child) by the hand step by step, introducing her to all Destiny has to offer her. Tyler slowly has opened up through receiving our hands on services. Truly a miracle to watch as she too is very shy. I have grown more open with Tyler and speak to her often when she is here, it makes my heart smile to know that Destiny provides something wonderful for her to help her feel better and to help her come to know herself through bodywork.
