The speed at which Broad Gauge work is going on in Lumbding-Badarpur Section, it seems it will be over well ahead of time. Heard that the Railway Ministry has given a strict time limit of 4 months to the construction companies and contractors. Those who can finish before time will get A or A+ certification from Railway Ministry which will ease their future tenders. If not, then the companies will be blacklisted or wont get future projects :) lol. And daily progress reports are directly monitored by the PMO itself. Although on book the time limit is 6 month. Overall,I think, we can expect to board a train within a year. When I think of Silchar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, I seriously get orgasm :) !!!
